Domestic Abuse\/Sexual Assault Services invites everyone to join us in the fight against violence.  As a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, we rely heavily on support from individuals, businesses and organizations within our local communities.  Whether you choose to a monetary donation, an in-kind donation or volunteer your time, your support is greatly appreciated.  Our program is successful in assisting victims or domestic violence, dating violence, human trafficking, sexual assault and stalking only because of your generous support.\ufeff<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can show your compassion and generosity for victims of violence in the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer:<\/strong>  Time is a valuable gift to donate!  There are many different ways to volunteer and support our mission.  Click here<\/a> to learn more about how you can volunteer and make an important difference.  Click here<\/a> for a volunteer application.  Once completed you may email it to das@dasas.net or mail it to DASAS, 407 W 5th St, McCook, NE  69001.  Once we receive your completed application, you will be kept updated on volunteer opportunities and trainings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-Kind Donations<\/strong> – If not new, in-kind donations need to be clean and in good used condition. Small household appliances must be in working order. Due to space limitations, we are unable to accept clothing donations. Please take your clothing donations to local thrift stores and mention that you are donating on behalf of Domestic Abuse\/Sexual Assault Services. \ufeffWe are then able to provide thrift store vouchers to those we assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donation Drive<\/strong> – If you, your church group or community organization would like to organize a donation drive to benefit DASAS, please look over our <\/a>wishlist<\/a> to see what items are currently needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hold an event<\/strong> – Have a garage sale, bake sale, etc. and donate the proceeds to DASAS.  Hold a cell phone drive.  Old cell phones can be recycled to raise funds to support victims of violence or be given to victims so they are able to call 911 in emergencies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
